General description

V process casting is also called V (Vacuum) method. It is a kind of dry sand casting molding process which adopts no adhesive and based on the pressure produced by the vacuum pump, the pressure compacts dry sand to the needed shape. The process is a physical method by using single dry sand (no water binder and appendages), molded by plastic film with vent and suction devices, after heating and then sealed the sand box, sucked out air by vacuum pump, the pressure compacts dry sand to the needed shape.
